Going Home

I leave tonight on a long flight back to the US. Heather and I still have much to post. We hope that you will continue checking on the blog after I get back. My time here has been amazing. We have developed working relationships and friendships with many people doing incredible work in Kenya...relationships we will value for, as they say in Kenya, time in memorial. I just said good-bye to everyone at ANAW. They have taken good care of me and gave me a space to work during my visit.

I look forward to being home...mostly being with Heather. I could easily stay here longer but not without her.

See you soon!
Travis

  1. Hi Heather and Travis
How are you doing? I was very sorry hearing you got sick in Kenya. I hope you had recovered. I'm not sure if you remember me. We met twice in Kenya - first time at joshua machinga's place and then at manor house agricultural center. I did there an internship for 2 months. I arrived a couple of days ago in Switzerland and do now some reseach and writing about my stay. Meeting you guys was great and I liked your speech you held the day you have visited manor house. I wished I could have been there in Seattle when you talked about the food sovereignty and the agricultural development in Kenya. Well, keep up the good work.
    Best regards,
    Debbie
