What you can do: Donate! Be a Village Volunteer! Join AGRA Watch!
Make a Donation to Support Organic Farmers in Kenya! We ask that you consider a donation of $10 - $100, to help us reach our goal of raising at least $250 for each of the projects we visited. Click here for details.
Be a Village Volunteer! Most of the projects we visited are part of Village Volunteers' program. If you or anyone you know is interested in a meaningful short or long term volunteer position in Kenya, Ghana, India, Nepal, or Belize, Village Volunteers connects people with amazing opportunities. The funds volunteers donate for room and board change lives - it is the biggest source of funding for every project we visited, and the labor is much needed. Everyone has a skill that can be put to use.
Village Volunteers is a 501c3, and is also in need of support. Please consider making a donation. Click here to go to their website.

Thanks for visiting!
We hope you enjoy the stories we share here about our travels in Africa - more specifically Kenya and Uganda. The purpose of our trip is to learn more about the Gates Foundation's role in agriculture in Africa and the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), and to meet with small farmers who are focused on sustainable farming practices, as opposed to the Gates Foundation who is relying on chemical fertilizers and GMOs. You can read more about the projects in the Page - click "About our Trip" above.
We hope these stories will help to strengthen the AGRA Watch campaign of Community Alliance for Global Justice, based in Seattle, WA - see links to CAGJ and AGRA Watch below!
